Damon Gupton is an American actor. He plays Sutton Wall in the HBO series The Newsroom. He guest stars in the first season episode "Bullies". He is known for his roles in the films The Loretta Claiborne Story (2000), Unfaithful (2002), Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007), and The Last Airbender (2010). He had a starring role in the short lived American remake of Prime Suspect as Detective Evrard Velerio in the 2011 to 2012 television season. He also starred in the short lived drama series Deadline as Charles Foster in 2000 to 2001 television season.
