Jeff Corbett (born September 3, 1965) is an American actor. He plays an Air Line Captain in the HBO series The Newsroom. He co-stars in the first season episode "5/1". He is known for his roles in the films Talent for the Game (1991), Gold Fever (2006), Big Fat Important Movie (2008), and The Beaver (2011). His TV show roles, asides from Newsroom, include guest appearances on NBC-TV's Quantum Leap, Fraser and ER, ABC-TV's Numb3ers, All My Children, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and A&E TV's Criminal Minds, and Crossing Jordan.
