Gideon Yago, born February 19, 1978 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, is a television news correspondent and screenwriter. He is a former correspondent for MTV News and CBS News. He is making his television writing debut on the HBO series The Newsroom. He is a Staff Writer for the first season. He did not work on the series pilot and joined the crew when the first season was ordered. He debuted with the second episode "News Night 2.0". He co-wrote the third episode "The 112th Congress" with the series head writer Aaron Sorkin. He shares the Staff Writer role with Brendan Fehily, Cinque Henderson, and Amy Rice.
