Jane Barrow is anchor of ACN's Washington DC studio. In Election Night Part II, her desk worked in conjunction with Will McAvoy's desk in New York. During a commercial break MacKenzie McHale requested that Jane go back to the desk after calling Colorado. Jane quipped that her team in Washington "won't drop Sarin gas on anybody in the meantime", which was overheard by everyone in New York master control. Mackenzie reminded her that Jerry Dantana was the one who pushed, and cooked the story on Operation Genoa and that was originally from the DC newsroom. She further suggested that Jane investigate all of Dantana's previous stories for being false.

Jane retorted that she'll be taking Will's desk when his career is finished over the Genoa story. Charlie Skinner intervened by ordering Jane to toss back to the New York newsroom when she wraps.
